Green State Energy is Recognized for Local Volunteering with the JFCS of Monmouth County

Green State Energy Recognized

When Jason, Chris and Malcolm started Green State Energy, giving back to the community was a big part of the plan. We discovered a fantastic opportunity with the Jewish Family and Children’s Food Pantry of Monmouth County. Their dedication, along with the generosity of their donors and volunteers, allows them to serve 150 families each week with enough FRESH food to create 6-8 meals for a family of four. The JFCS’s emphasis on providing fresh produce (not processed) was in alignment with our mission to help communities and families to ‘Go Green’. This made our decision to partner with them for the long-term very easy!

Our company has been volunteering with this organization since we opened our doors. We decided early on to commit to community service and felt giving food especially during this pandemic was a great way to give back. Every Friday, 2 employees volunteer their time to go spend 2-3 hours at the food pantry. We organize food bags, prepare packages, and support the staff in giving out the fresh food. In April, we were thrilled and humbled to receive an award from the JFCS of Monmouth County “in recognition of our spirit and our many hours of volunteering in support of the Nourish Asbury Food Pantry”. We thank them so much for all they do to provide fresh, wholesome food to the families in our community.

We’d like to help you make a difference too. We want to support your family in your goals to help the planet and build greener communities. Volunteering at your local food pantry is a great way to get involved at the community level. But when it comes to significantly reducing your family’s impact on the planet, there’s nothing better than solar panel installation for your home. Solar energy is the cheapest source of energy in the world and produces no pollution. Solar powered homeowners enjoy significantly lower home energy costs and potential solar energy tax breaks. Now is a great time to get your free consultation and quote for the best renewable energy solution for your home from Green State Energy. Contact us now.
